[A slight scent of roses fill the air as a small breeze blows, followed by a little girl appearing out of nowhere. She glances at the ground with her arms folded across her chest, musing to herself.]

Hmmm... The accuracy has begun to improve compared to back then...

[Sensing the newcomers, her red eyes darted toward the pair. The showed the feeling of intense boredom and indifference.]

Ah. New additions?

[Wait... Something about those two nags Rachel in the back of her head. Her eyes narrow slightly with apprehension, but she remains civil... Well, at least as much civil as she can get.]

... So sorry, you're trapped in this world like the rest of us. Enjoy your stay.

That's... they didn't even say hello yet and she already told them that there is no way out? Hm... Subaru keeps his expression neutral as he cocks his head to the side. "What do you mean by trapped in this world?"

Surely, there is a way out.

No matter how many times I force it and rearrange the algorithms, I can't seem to alter space time and return to my home world.

[ Sesshoumaru comes across the pair on his usual endless walks around the city, the streets and stores memorised by now. He pauses as he stares across at them, trying to decide if they were a threat or not. They certainly felt different; that he couldn't deny. ]

If the twins felt off to Sesshoumaru, Sesshoumaru certainly felt off to them too. His presence made Subaru pause in looking around, gaze fixing on Sesshoumaru for a couple of seconds, returning that stare with a curious one of his own.

[wordlessly though, he placed a palm of his unto Subaru's cheek, turning it away from Sesshoumaru.

he already felt his unusual energy, he didn't need to look over to him directly to tell that he is not human. best not get involved.]

[ Hn, they seemed to care for one another. That didn't really interest Sesshoumaru. He paused to stare at them a little longer, making sure he knew their scent, before beginning to head off in the opposite direction. ]

[ This is Marat sitting on a bench. His sores are killing him so he just shivers under his wet frock coat. He silently grinds his teeth as he thinks... ]

There. He seems like a perfectly normal enough person to ask so Subaru walks over to Marat, hoping that Kamui will follow, a smile already on his lips as he comes to a stop in front of the man. "Excuse me? Do you think you would be able to tell us where we are?"

[but Kamui did not feel the same. the other man seemed troubled and deep in thought-
