[The Kraken held virtually no interest for Orihara Izaya. Instead, he had thus far minded his own business. He had a whole lot bigger things on his platter.

Which should be obvious by how he looks right about now. Bruised up face, bruised around the neck- which yes, suggests someone probably tried choking him recently.

Overall, he doesn't look in the best of shape. Despite the battery, he looks cheerful as he skips along through the forest.

That's when- of course- he notices Jacob. Curious!]

My, my! You look so serious!

[Prancing over and stopping just a few feet in front of him. Leaning forward, he peers close at his face.]

Are you thinking about God or something important~?

[Jacob looks up, momentarily broken out of his concentration, and just smiles, his blank blue eyes almost seeming to look through the man in front of him.]

Ah? No, not really. I'm just taking in the beauty of this place in and using it as a backdrop for my own thoughts.

[He shrugs, but then his eyes narrow as he spots Izaya's wounds.] ...Are you alright?

[Johnny was flying, trying to get some air after having been unconscious for so long. However, thanks to the 'coma' he'd experienced, plus the fact he was using his powers and hadn't eaten in a while, the swarm of bats was hardly flying straight.

The bats wandered their way into the forest, flying low and a little erratically. The lead few smacked into some branches and fell, the others swarming to them and reforming into the vampire who stumbled and fell against the tree, bringing a hand to his head.

When he bothered to look around, he noticed Jacob nearby, 'zoning,' and hoped the man hadn't seen the flying debacle.]

Jacob..

[Jacob noticed the entire thing, of course, but being the polite person that he was, pretended that he had just broken out of his concentration. But the concern in his eyes is very evident as he turns to look at the vampire.]

Oh, hello Johnny. How have you been?

[Well, if Jacob wasn't going to say anything, Johnny was just going to ignore the concern and smile~]

[He walks over and flops down beside the other man.]

Eh, I tried to calm down the Kraken but it didn't really work out. It's a stubborn creature.

[And hope you don't mind a large Russian man walking by, Jacob. He wanted to have some time to relax for himself as well. What he didn't expect, was someone else there. Still, if he was going to be stuck here for a while, might as well make some allies. God forbid any BLUs show up.]

[Jacob turns, narrowing his eyes ever so slightly as he looks over the man and smiles.]

Very far away. But this is the safest and quietest place, what with a giant octopus on top of the city.

[Sissel is wandering, and he's curious about the forest. He's running through, having a good time... and then he reaches the lake. Slowly, he pads forward, settling down next to it and lapping up the water. After that, he tilts his head and stares at Jacob.]

[Jacob turns his head and looks back at the cat, faintly smiling. He can tell there's more to the animal than at first seems.]

Hello. Enjoying the forest, are you?

[He talks as if he's talking not to a cat, but another human being. There is no cutesy baby talk- he just speaks in a normal tone, as if talking to cats is merely an everyday thing.]

I'm assuming since Jacob is magical guardian man he might be able to understand Sissel. xD

[Sissel mewls in the affirmative, and stands up, walking over to him. Hmm... he might be able to understand him. He can't quite tell - even when he takes a moment to switch over to the ghost world he can't quite get a read on this man's soul. He'll hop over and try, though.]

[He pauses, tilting his head back towards the chaos of the main bubble.]
