[Johnny was flying, trying to get some air after having been unconscious for so long. However, thanks to the 'coma' he'd experienced, plus the fact he was using his powers and hadn't eaten in a while, the swarm of bats was hardly flying straight.

The bats wandered their way into the forest, flying low and a little erratically. The lead few smacked into some branches and fell, the others swarming to them and reforming into the vampire who stumbled and fell against the tree, bringing a hand to his head.

When he bothered to look around, he noticed Jacob nearby, 'zoning,' and hoped the man hadn't seen the flying debacle.]

[Jacob noticed the entire thing, of course, but being the polite person that he was, pretended that he had just broken out of his concentration. But the concern in his eyes is very evident as he turns to look at the vampire.]

Oh, hello Johnny. How have you been?

[Well, if Jacob wasn't going to say anything, Johnny was just going to ignore the concern and smile~]

[He walks over and flops down beside the other man.]

Eh, I tried to calm down the Kraken but it didn't really work out. It's a stubborn creature.

[Johnny, once again, demonstrates his lack of personal space by leaning back and resting, slightly, on Jacob, with his eyes turned to the barrier.]

Mmmm~ It's not the nicest of things, is it? Although, it seems as the the city is defending itself well enough..

[Jacob doesn't mind. He could tell Johnny was worn out, so he's happy to lend a shoulder for him to lean on. Literally.]

Yes, it's rather misunderstood. Rather like a child. I don't think it really wants to hurt anybody, I think it's just...upset.

Mmm....yeah, I'd say that's about right. I get the feeling it's just confused and, after all the pain we caused it...now it's just more confused and angry.

No, not really. In some cases, I am. Like being attacked, for example. But I always think about things before deciding what to do. I look before I leap.

[He stills, a bit surprised and trying to hide it. When he speaks, his tone is quiet, distant, and a little sad.]
