[Matthew is sitting on the edge of a roof, watching in some amusement. He doesn't know what that weapon of hers is, exactly, but that's some obvious skill right there.]

Not bad.

[And she looks up, more or less a little embarrassed that she didn't catch him. Not that she was worried about hitting him, but if it was anyone else, it could've gotten a little messy.]

Only 'not bad'?

[He laughs, hopping down from the rooftop lightly.]

Fishing for praise now, Saya?

Ah, well...

[She wasn't watching her words on that one and... she kind of stopped watching what she said around Matthew. He taunted her, it was only fair she got to do it back.]

Just where praise is due. Took me years to master that technique, you know.

[Noel is pinged by another gun user and can't help but stare in awe at Saya's skills]

W...wow...y-you've got really good aim.

[Oh! Another person? That snaps her out of her daze and she smiles.]

Thanks! It's true what they say about how practice makes perfect.

It definitely shows in your case. I-I'm not sure if I'd ever be able to master a technique that complicated myself.

[Saya giggles a bit.]

You won't with that attitude! It takes a bit of elbow grease and a lot of free time, but I'm sure you could learn.

[ Klavier whistles when the 'ting!' noise from the bullet hitting the can happens. ... This woman is not only cute, but a crack shot? Awesome. Though... really, what IS it with the women he meets and weapons, anyway? Then again, most of the women he knows are in law enforcement... but that's really no explanation for one of them carrying a whip, and the other throwing Snackoos at him constantly. ]

Your marksmanship is expert, Fräulein. I'd give that trick an eleven.

[Ooh, a compliment! She turns and smiles brightly.]

Why thank you! Glad it could prove to be entertaining, if nothing else. I find it pretty fun too.

[ Oh, she's even cuter when she smiles like that. ♥ This is just more incentive for him. ]

Just don't take your 'amusement' too far, hm~? It would be a truly lamentable waste of talent and beauty if I had to arrest you.

[ While he says it with a wink, he's only half-joking. Never mind they have no court to prosecute someone in. ... He's... working on it. ]

[And he's managed to succesfully catch her attention! She can't help but laugh a bit at the irony of it. Someone's threatening to arrest her? Strange turn of events.]

I'm flattered. And I can certainly say that you'll never catch me on that side of the law. Not when I'm normally the one doing the arresting.

Growing up with a boy who'd become known as the "Gun with Wings", it wasn't easy to impress Eyes with gun tricks. In fact, when he'd first seen the woman approach through the window, he hadn't paid her any mind. An eyebrow had gone up when she'd pulled out a gun though - and a second one too when she'd aimed for not the can, as he'd expected, but nothing much at all. And yes, Eyes had been thoroughly impressed when the bullet had eventually pierced the target.

A special bullet...if Kanone had had access to that, imagine the havoc he would've caused -- but that was a sober thought, and one he banished quickly from his mind as he had learned to do, over the months in which his friend had become yet another place to bear flowers too. Instead, he opens the window, sticking his head out. "Impressive trick," he commented lightly, watching her set up tin cans, although his dry expression belied his words. "It would be a shame if you had lost it."

She'd just finished creating something of a tower with the cans when she heard him comment, and she couldn't help but be a bit pleased. It was nice when her hard work earned a little praise here and there. She grinned and nodded in agreement, "Oh, definitely! It would've been hard to find again, at the very least."

And seeing as she saw no problem in keeping up a conversation with someone who was a few floors above her, she found a seat for herself on the sidewalk and continued speaking, "But well, you've got lots of time to waste around here. Should be plenty of time to polish up a few skills to kill a few hours."

"I wouldn't call that wasted time." Eyes himself had spent some hours polishing up old skills that Kanone had drilled into him - skills that after the final clash between Narumi-otouto and Kiyotaka he had deemed mostly unnecessary - because he couldn't help but feel that they would be terribly useful in such a place. He couldn't afford revealing his practice with bullets, however, and had stuck to knife throwing and some basic hand to hand exercises. Although not having a sparring partner was quite a disadvantage ( ... )

More than a few hours? She wondered if it was possible to pull it off within hours, days, or months. Admittedly she'd taught herself, so maybe if it was something that could be taught to another, or if the person being taught was exceptionally talented... And immediately the image of Train flashed before her eyes, and it wasn't long before she was grinning.

"Hours, years, I'd say that it was worth it either way. Though as for the 'why'...." She contemplated her answer. "Well, it's sort of necessary in my line of work to incapacitate the target. When you get to the big leagues, it's harder to do it with a gun, but I don't really know how to use anything else. So it's just a matter of developing a different method."

['Sup, Saya. Dominic's just walking around, trying to focus on something other than this whole alternate timelines issue, when he spots her. And, you know, the gun trick. He approaches her, smiling softly.]

Impressive.
