Buying a blender may be one of the best things I've done (recently).
In other news, an elementary school invited me to talk during their career day in April. I sent an email to the teacher, saying I'll be there. Not even a year into my career and I'll be talking about it to a bunch of 3-5 graders. Neato! -
On the wire
So this afternoon Clint, my editor told me the Associated Press is going to use my Westminster dog story as their weekend package - hurrah! I was so excited! Then, because the photo we ran is from a professional and they'd have to get permission to run it, the AP will run a photo that I took of the dog. So, a STORY and PHOTO running on the AP. Yes! -

Too Much
So all year I knew I'd have a College Mentors for Kids! banquet at the end of the year. However, I didn't learn when it would be held until yesterday.
