Mauled by the media

For those of you who aren't news junkies, last Saturday six people were killed in a tiny (8,000 pop.) Wisconsin town just a half hour or so east of Beloit. It made national news, if only briefly, and the investigators had a press conference yesterday

i don't know how people can just shove a camera in someone's face who has just experienced tradegy like that either, but I guess its part of the job and sometimes you just have to numb yourself to what is going on to get the story. It would definitely be hard at first, but its something I'm sure you adapt to as a journalist.
