[The video feed switches on showing Sakutaro in the bedroom he shares with Maria and their Pokémon in their new home in Goldenrod City. He dislikes keeping his pokémon in their pokéballs, so every now and then, the viewer may catch a glimpse of a Happiny, Shinx, and Growlithe in the room. [The video feed opens up to show the scenery going by very quickly and the sound of galloping hooves. Just as a brightly colored egg comes into view for a split second, Sakutaro squeaks out:]

[After trying to get through to Route 36 to get to Violet City, Sakutaro has found it impossible to get there on his own with a strange tree blocking his path. So he has switched directions, heading down the path east from Ecruteak City. He doesn't want to go through Mahogany Town, but he has to find another way to New Bark Town somehow ( Read more... )

[Sakutaro is outside in Ecruteak City, standing by the pathway leading out to Route 37. As usual, his only two pokémon are out of their pokéballs: his Growlithe sitting by his feet and his baby Happiny in his arms.]
