Recently I decided that some of my old textbooks need to go.  There are quite a few textbooks from my theater days that I decided are no longer necessary and listed up on the Amazon market.  I've sold two in the past two days. The word of the day today is Slimsy.  It means Flimsy or frail.  It's one of those words that I don't believe it's a word.  Or that it even needs to be a word.  Just use flimsy or frail and you've got your meaning across.

My PDA froze again.  It hasn't shut down yet so I don't know the verdict, but I'm feeling like it's about time to get a new way to keep appointments.  It'd take a miracle to get back the information in working order.

So I found twenty dollars today, walking around UCR .  Then I had to re-purchase a text book that I still haven't received from an Amazon seller person.  So instead of spending $80 on one book as was the plan, I ended up spending $200 on two books.

That's my exciting news of the day.. I strive to be boring.

Apparently Live journal has some sort of connection to Book Blurb because on the bottom of their home page in "Cool Features" there's a link to Book Blurb that recommends you turn your journal into a book. The book I ordered on Amazon yesterday and set up to arrive tommorrow came today!  That was incredibly surpriseing and I totally appreceiate it. I riped that package open and jumped for joy when I saw it.  No joke, my feet were off the ground. Gravity was my bitch for two seconds. Go UPS go ( Read more... )

I love books, and book binding. I've made a couple of silly journals with my first few tries, but it was my last one that I actually felt like this hobby was worth it. I made the hardback journal that I carried through Poland and filled cover to cover while I was there.
