Sold yet another book. So glad to have it gone. Each one means more space in the book shelf. Good bye White Supremacy: A Comparative Study of American and South African History That one was for a class that I dropped when a spot opened up in a Marvin Meyers class. All those books and no one read them.

Sold another book. Good bye Jesus as a figure in history. That was one of those books it was barely worth it to ship. Probably also something that would have been interesting to keep. But oh well.

Sold the time tables of history last week. That was a huge honker which was great to get out of my house.

Listed all the books that were sitting in the "to sell pile". And I've now sold two more. Goodbye APA manual 6th edition. Goodbye Trobrianders of Papua New Guinea. That last one was a Chapman book. It's always good when those sell.

Recently I decided that some of my old textbooks need to go.  There are quite a few textbooks from my theater days that I decided are no longer necessary and listed up on the Amazon market.  I've sold two in the past two days. Finished Jury Duty on tuesday night.  Called the number and they told me you're not  required to report for wednesday and thanks for doing your duty for Riverside. It worked out nicely to postpone to Thanksgiving week.  I'll keep that in mind for future ( Read more... )

This comprehensive exam that's coming up on Setp 7th is kind of eating away at me.  I've been rereading my articles. Writing a draft and next I'm going to edit my outline.  But really, what wories me is wether or not I can actually write a paper with just an outline.  I have to work on how to keep my word count under the requrirement but write in ( Read more... )

I was on a panel today.  CSUDH Career center ran a "Health Careers Panel" today and I volunteered to be on it to answer questions about Occupational Therapy.  There were two doctors (one practicing, one professing), an army medic, a dentist (also in the reserve), a RN, certified lab tech, and a radiological technologies (X-ray).  Seemed like it ( Read more... )
