I've given some thought to the premature passing of Robin Williams, and look at it like this; here was a man who's mind seemed never to shut off, people say the only thing faster than his mouth was his mind, but who else who ever mounted a comedy stage was as quick witted? convention report, boston comicon 2013, almost but not quite the 2nd worst con ever. (ended well!)
so, I will admit I did no research in advance about this convention, which had been rescheduled due to the marathon bombing. well I spoze I could update this again, it's been like a month. I have been keeping a journal on paper, in a blank book. my handwriting isn't spectacular, occasionally even I have trouble figuring out what I'd meant, and I have odd shorthand, sometimes a Japanese character for something, I had a dream in which "peo" was acceptable shorthand for " ( Read more... ) -

I promised myself I would not use twitter. and I won't. actually I made no such promise to myself, I simply decided I would never use it, and I wont. however, I have started an account there, solely to prevent anyone else starting one in my name. Sleep
-what happened to our relationship? I've never had insomnia before this bad. last night I got nearly an hour's sleep I think. and told myself I wouldn't nap today, but I did. oh well. have to fight my way back to a semi normal sleep cycle. doesn't help when people text me at 2am, set off illegal fireworks at 3am next door, move furniture upstairs ( Read more... ) -

I had to update my "about me" on here, realised it had been a while. google chrome would not let me. Mozilla firefox would not let me. I was not going to install internet exploiter on this machine, after having uninstalled it, so I went to Cnet, read a bit, and decided to try the Opera operating system. it Operated! seemed a bit slow, considering ( Read more... ) -

my computer died, since then I have gone through 3 sort of temporary replacements, or 4 really. got my ancient desktop hobbling along first, barely adequate for checking email, it has difficulty with all the high RAM requirements of the modern interweb. then my brother had a couple of laptops lying around unused, gave me one, which was definitely a ( Read more... ) -
