I'm actually in Texas so much these days that taxi and limo drivers are starting to recognize me. But as long as CieAura corporate is willing to hire me to shoot events (and as long as I always have awesome models and friends out here) I will keep on coming back.

I find myself in Texas a lot these days... Houston, San Antonio, Pasadena, Dallas... So much so that I still have this LJ icon in regular rotation. The main reason is CieAura; a company I shoot for that does a lot of business here. But I also plan on opening Nakayama Studios Dallas, as I have a ton of models and friends out this way as well ( Read more... )

So, uh... yeah. I spent the day in bed, getting up long enough to shoot a morning meeting and then crawled back in to bed in pain. Not sure from what yet, but my side is splitting and it's hard to move. This morning I was to wake up early and head down to the local nude beach and shoot the model that had scheduled 2 (possibly 3) shoots with me for this trip. We had spoken on the phone, she seemed friendly and competent enough and her schedule coincided with mine so everything seemed cool ( Read more... )

But I did get in some practice with the Canon D10 underwater rig as soon as I got here, in the EIGHT swimming pools (all on different levels, connected by water slides). The second leg of my trip to Colorado was an interesting one. At some point during the trip the air conditioner in the car I was borrowing broke. But it didn't break as in "doesn't work."
