Wore my new 'vegan' walking shoes for the first time today.

Perhaps a 5 mile walk wasn't the best way to start breaking them in. They are incredible stiff and my socks weren't thick enough so I have sore spots all over my feet.

Hopefully, I can find some thicker walking socks before Monday's walk.

I walked into a christian store today and I niether burst into flames or was spritz with holy water by crucifix wielding clerks.

I've also lost another 10lbs - bringing me up to a total of almost 40lb since May.

I got almost 4-1/2 hours of sleep last night!!!

I'm so giddy. This is the first time in 2 weeks that I've gotten more than 3 hours.

Especially the purpley syrupy kind.

So what to do when you're coughing too much to sleep?

Get online and see if anybody else is awake too .....
