I adore jeggings. Julie Benz turned me onto them last fall. I love them because I adore the layered look of a skirt with jeans, but I hate the bulk of actual jeans + skirt. Let's face it, not too many women want to make themselves look wider in the hip region...

Wedding in less than 2 weeks
My colloquium presentation went really well this week. I really feel as though going early has helped me get back on track with my thesis. I mean, the thesis is good, but I was previously having a hard time pulling it all together in a narrative of sorts. Now, that is no longer the case :-)

Wedding plans
So, with less than 1 month to go until the wedding day, I thought I would fill you all in on what we're doing. It's a small wedding, I apologize to everyone who I would have loved to invite. We just acquired our first mortgage, and we're still in school. With my parents' divorce and everything else, we decided to keep it very small.

LAX tomorrow
We've got all but a couple of things moved over now. Just some last stuff to clear out of the closet and then we're in!! The new place is great! So spacious we actually have an office now and a guest bedroom!! I'm so happy we took the plunge. I'll post pictures as soon as there aren't so many boxes in view :-D

ISMAR 09
The ISMAR conference was great! We really enjoyed ourselves in Florida. On our last full day there we even went to Universal Studios, which was awesome, since Rob had never been there before. The park was populated but not too busy, so we only had 5 ~ 15 minute waits for most rides. We even went on the Mummy ride twice! My only disappointment was ( Read more... ) -
