Still no news yet from Vanier about scholarships. Notification was supposed to be in March 2010, but as you can see, it is no longer March...
I've called twice and been notified that they "should be sending the letters out this week." That means the letter will most likely arrive while I am in Atlanta for CHI 2010. I have yet to miss a CHI since 2007 and am excited to announce (if I haven't already) that I've been selected to be a member of the organizing committee for CHI 2011 and CHI 2012!!! This is HUGE deal for me carreer wise, being on the organizing committee of the largest international conference on human-computer interaction.
Well, I'm off to work soon. I'm teaching two sections of an ActionScript game programming course from 11 - 6 today.
