I didn't have a lot of time at the V&A last spring, also, most of the collection of historic clothing was in storage, there is a new facility being created. This is posted for eliskimo. I believe there was a form of camera used in the late 16th C.

These pics are just beautiful. I can imagine looking at this wall hanging for a looooong time. How large is it?

I don't have measurements, but I recall it being quite large- maybe 10-12 feet long, 5-6 feet high. Added a picture of the full wall hanging fyi.
