I want a pet ocelot.

I think I just miss having a pet in general.

Not as cute as they sound.

Really? The one I saw earlier was definitely cute.

Salvador Dalí kept one as a pet, I think.

Wait until it tries to eat a snake.

Salvador Dali isn't exactly a great moral compass.

Well, I've had fish and birds as a kid, which were considered acceptable by my mother, and for two brief afternoons, a rat and a puppy, both of which I wasn't allowed to keep.

So anything really. Except maybe snakes. Definitely no tarantulas.

Maybe. Do cats travel well?

I could probably get you an ocelot, if you could foot the bill.

I could foot the bill. I just don't know it would be all that fair to the poor thing.

Where would you get an ocelot from? And the greater question is, would it actually be legal?

Both of those are questions best left unanswered, sweetheart.

But more active and require a regular space to run around, something I don't always have available. Though, I guess I don't exactly travel with the natural habitat of an ocelot either.

My birds always were, the endless 'pretty girl' flattery was great. Though, I like people more than I dislike them, at least most of the time, so I have more experience with human company than pet company.
