Starting over...again!
So, I know I haven't written in forever. Life has been happily crazy. My divorce was finalized the day before Valentine's day and I haven been slowly putting myself back together. My heart is healing and I have learned so much about what I would do differently for the next time. It stinks to have made such a big life-altering decision without ( Read more... ) -

So the ipod that I thought I had very obviously been hinting around about did not arrive under the tree on Christmas morning. Continuing in the vein of taking care of myself, I bought one!
I have never had an ipod, never used itunes, never had so much fun!

So Friday night I came home and Grayson (the cat) did not look ok. Upon closer inspection, I could see that he had some matted hair at the base of his tail but he wouldn't let me touch it and he was not holding his tail up. Quite a night!
So, tonight is Caleb's birthday. I did lots of sneaking around and pulled together dinner with 12 of our friends at a Japanese steakhouse. Dinner was very good even though we were spread out over 2 grills. We had drinks, lots of good food, and generally enjoyed each other's company. It's been a while...
So I haven't posted in quite a while. Every day I don't post, it feels harder and harder to get back into it. So many happy things have happened that I wish I could write them all...but that would be terribly boring ( Read more... ) -
Weekend, yay!
So, Caleb had the weekend off. Because of his schedule, he only has 2 or 3 weekends off all summer, so we usually try to make the most of them when they come along. Saturday we went up to a friend's lake house and spent the whole day on the lake. I should have used sunscreen...I'm not burned but definitely a little pinker than I'd like. If anyone is so inclined, please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow. I have to go to the scary girl doctor and have some procedures done. They have given me vicodin and valium and hopefully I will make it. My mom offered to go with me, but I don't even want to be there myself, let alone have someone else in there with me.
