So...it happened!

Here is a little rundown from the week of the wedding:

Thursday:

So, Hannah, my bestest, flew in yesterday from PA. She came over after I got out of work and we sat on the couch with a glass of wine for hours, just catching up.  So last night was Caleb's graduation from the Police Academy. i will admit that my eyes welled up when they marched in saying cadence. He was the recipient of the Motivator Award, an award given by the staff to the recruit who does the best job motivating the other recruits. It was a wonderful surprise. So, last month I went to the bridal salon in Dracut to try on my dress. We were a little bit early and the woman (who was amazing the first time I met her) just threw us in a room rather than ask us to wait so she could help me negotiate with the dress. So...funny story. The cat was licking at herself and I saw something strange and decided to investigate. Imagine my surprise when I saw that Gracie May is NOT a girl cat! Although Caleb and I had yet another V-day apart, he did a great job anyways. He left me a card that I had to wait to open until today (I did a very good job waiting!) and last weekend he gave me a beautiful jewelry box. He put pictures from our engagement photo session in it.
