So...it happened!

Here is a little rundown from the week of the wedding:

Thursday:
Rehersal and rehersal dinner. My family came in from NJ and Caleb's family came from all over the place. We ran through the mechanics of the ceremony a few times. Our flower girls were absolutely gorgeous...so cute and excited. Our pastor ran through the whole thing-- ( Read more... )

I'm so glad that I got to be at your special day. It was a beautiful ceremony. I should be mailing out the photos that we took this weekend. Granted I do have them on facebook so you can grab them from there.

Talk to you soon!

PS - you were absolutely gorgeous in your dress.

Congratulations! You two look amazing!

And now for a bit of old married lady advice...I sometimes *still* struggle with physical intimacy because it was SO engrained in me that it was forbidden. Expect it to take a long time and don't worry, at least I've found it to be normal.

Uggg...I was just one big bundle of emotions. The (few) ladies I have tried to consult about the weirdness of it all have told me it takes time...it's a lot to adjust to all at once. I'm really thankful that he is so patient and told me that he didn't marry me just so that he could have his way with me, but for so much more. Aww :)

I thought about you a lot this weekend, actually. Isn't it so weird how we make connections and even though some people we never meet, you still think about them? I digress...

I can't wait to show off the real pictures when they come in!

What helps me is admitting to my husband that I'm feeling weird (again). He reminds me that it's right for the two to become one and that means physically too! We share a house, we share a bank account, we share so much...sometimes that stuff isn't easy either so why do we expect the physical to be easy too? No, it takes practice, communication, and learning. Those exercises never end!

Wow your last paragraph COMPLETELY sums up how I felt after the wedding. I know it may seem weird, but feel free to talk to me anytime. I know exactly what you are going through!!

Glad your day was so wonderful. You looked stunning :)
