Weekend, yay!
So, Caleb had the weekend off. Because of his schedule, he only has 2 or 3 weekends off all summer, so we usually try to make the most of them when they come along. Saturday we went up to a friend's lake house and spent the whole day on the lake. I should have used sunscreen...I'm not burned but definitely a little pinker than I'd like. We went tubing, he wakeboarded and just had a nice time jumping off the boat and enjoying everyone's company. Some of our friends had to leave early, so we headed back with them and Caleb did a detail at Margaritas. I went over to a friend's house and we were planning on watching a movie but just talked for 4 hours. It was so good to catch up, get a lot out on the table and just to see her.
Today Caleb and I are going to church (if he wakes up!) and then test driving some cars. I am excited about driving the cars and I think we will be taking photos of SWTPEA and putting her online to see if anyone wants to take her home. I'd rather not just trade her in and be at their mercy for a trade in price. If we can sell her sooner rather than later, I can drive my parents' extra car, the taurus fondly known as the "red rocket" until we find a car. I am thinking that as long as I have a car for the first snow, I am going to be fine. It would be nice to sell my car and keep that money in the bank for a few months to get interest!
After driving cars, we are going to a movie with my parents...and I am so psyched! I think it will be a fabulous day :)
