Hi all,

Aside from this group, are there any other trans groups which deal with outdoor activity like club sports, or tri-athlons, eco challenges etc?

I'd like to find or create a group where good info could be shared etc...but it could be a fleeting thought as well.

Oh yeah,  I don't have any of those bikes anymore.  After the accident I sold them all, except the Raleigh track bike which had basically two frames instead of one after the accident and the front wheel, well, wheels aren't supposed to be rectangular are they ( Read more... )

Hi! I'm Lisbeth, MtoF full-time for five years. Car-free for three years. I ride a mountain bike, typically 10-25 mile trips. Never done cross-country, but that could be fun over the right terrain. Anyway, that's my version of waving.

Does anyone out here know anything about trainers? Fulid trainers seem to be the most popular. Is there a difference? I'll try to pick up a used one from CL once I figure out what I'm looking for ( Read more... )

Im going on my first big bike tour from Ottawa to Montreal the first weekend of Sept (will be about 200-250km each way). So far I havent had any issues with tucking, but my rides are only 22km twice daily and was wondering if anyone can make some suggestions to avoid any possible problems that I dont forsee?

I thought I'd throw this out there just to add something to this community, I guess, and just because it's something about me. This is a tour journal from a small 2-day trip I made last summer, which I guess was about 2 months before I started seriously considering the possibility of being trans/transitioning.
