Trainers
Does anyone out here know anything about trainers? Fulid trainers seem to be the most popular. Is there a difference? I'll try to pick up a used one from CL once I figure out what I'm looking for.
A little background. I live in Chicago and the weather is starting to get bad. We still have a nice day here and there, but for the most part, it's in the 20's - 30's at night and barely gets warmer than the 40's during the day. So my alternative is a trainer. I'm really not sure where to begin and what to look for. When the weather is nice enough (about 2/3 of the year around here), I like to get out on my road bike for 20 - 35 mile rides 3 - 4 times per week. I realize using a trainer in my basement won't be the same, but I'll take it while I can.
