There was a tall stoic looking man in the crowd today, panning his gaze around the crew. There was a lot of unfamiliar faces, many people reuniting and some looking pensive that their loved ones were unable to visit this day.

He adjusted his white hat with the little scar in the brim. There was time to find someone. Hopefully whoever he was important to was here.

Shoutarou wondered if there'd be anyone here - he had Philip here, but there were others who were important to him as well - Akiko, Terui, Jinno, Makura, the Irregulars...

There was a small part of him that kind of sort of hoped it'd be Lily Shirogane. If you're gonna dream, dream big, right?

Nothing could have prepared him, though, for who he saw standing among the crowd - even with that suit gone, it was impossible to miss that hat.

"...B-boss..."

Looking over, Soukichi's eyes bore into Shoutarou. And then he nodded.

And said five words that would forever drive itself into Shoutarou's mind: "Your hat. It looks good."

"..."

Yeah, he's gonna stand there and try not to break down then and there. His jaw works, trying to find something to say, and...

He can't find the words.

Ike towered amongst most of the guests for the day, his dark bluish hair popping out now that he was dressed from head to toe in a blackish outfit. The suit covered his entire body, but he still had the bright red cape draping over his elbows that moved behind him as he walked and the green headband tied around his hair. There was no mistake of who he might be, for those who knew him, at least.

The leader of the Griel Mercenaries had no doubt that if he had been awoken to meet someone that thought he was important, it had to be a member of his band. It was simply a question of who...

Soren frowned at the milling crowd. One day, indeed. What could they possibly do with one day? And what were the odds that--

He very nearly dropped the book he was carrying.

"...Ike?"

It was Ike. He'd know that wild mess of blue hair anywhere (it helped that he was also massively taller than like everyone else). Soren rushed toward him, squeezing through a series of people much more solidly built than he, not caring about the complaints and exclamations of surprise as he shoved his way past.

"Ike!"

Aww come on why was Soren awoken and he wasn't.

Oh well look who it was..

"Soren!" he called back, still feeling pretty strange without his weapon in his hands. They moved around his hips as his brain tried to figure out what he should do with them.

"It's good to see you, old friend."

Of course Ike was taking this all in stride. Of course he was. Soren found that with all that had happened, he was finding it difficult to figure out where to begin. He'd been operating under the assumption that Ike was in one of those pods somewhere, of course, but to actually see him here...

"You... Tellius..." Soren began, then stopped. "We're on a ship," he said finally.

Once that voice... Stacy, had trailed off, Jared stood there, waiting a few moments.

"That's it? What the hell is going on here?"

Sam tried not to get his hopes up. After all, Stacy had said she'd been stopped partway through her efforts. But he had to look anyway.

He didn't see him. He could feel him. And smell him. Jared was here. He pushed through the crowd most impolitely and made a beeline for his brother.

But before Jared could even see him coming, Sam was on him, his arms wound tight around him. "Jared!" He was so happy to see him he really couldn't keep his voice from cracking. Lousy 17 year old body.

He wasn't alone anymore! It didn't matter that it was only for a day. Jared was here.

What the-- "Sam! What are you... jeez!" He managed to extricate himself from his brother's grasp, somehow, and looked down at Sam in bemusement.

So, if what that Stacy person was saying was true, he'd been awakened for Sam's benefit... Well, it could be worse. "You're acting like you haven't seen me in ages."

He just smiled up at Jared. "Because I haven't! I've been here all by myself for months!" His voice cracked again. He cleared his throat and started over, a bit more calm. "Did Stacy explain anything about the purpose of this ship?" He wasn't sure if there was the usual vague explanation when these folks popped as when everyone else had.

He was sure his eyes were a bit bloodshot from trying not to cry from happiness. He tried to swallow down the accompanying lump in his throat.

So many people! That was Storm's first thought as she stepped onto the deck, still clutching the strange suit she'd been given to her. It was hard to concentrate, with all the sounds, sights, and milling bodies about.

Still, she tried to raise her voice, in the hopes that someone might hear her...

"Seamus? Rose? Mike?" Her lips twisted a moment. "Allen?"

The girl's shoulders slumped a little, and she scooted over to a corner. Storm had no idea who would need her here so much...

Try again, Stormy; charging towards you is a familiar Akashic, a wild grin on his face.

"How was I not on that list, Stormy?!"

That's not quite a diving hug, but it's pretty damn close.

"Because I did not think you would need me!" Usually you're the capable one, Morgan.

Well, now you have her clinging like a limpet in return, Morgan, and burying her head in your chest.

"There are so many people here!"

He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her fiercely tight.

"There's... a lot to explain, Stormy. It might be better if you just grabbed it all directly? I don't even know if I can do it justice..."

"Oh come on. You can't drag me out here just to tell me I'm goin' back in. It was gross enough this time." Jack grumbled.

Stacy hadn't sounded so good. Gift or not, he didn't want her to risk herself just so they could have company. Whatever that meant: it sounded like they had visitors for a day. He didn't like the way she cut off either. Was she going to be okay ( ... )

"Danny! Hi, how'vw you been doing?" he replied jovially, before his tone turned to that of an irate whisper. "WHAT. THE. HELL. IS. GOING. ON."

Daniel pulled up to a stop, surprised.

"How've I been doing?" Daniel repeated dumbly, blinking. Just like they'd met on a grocery store instead after a few years. And not, you know, as if Jack had just woken up, ass naked and covered in slime. Actually, he sounded more offended, he thought. Daniel reminded himself who he was dealing with. First of all, there wasn't any arguing Jack wasn't something different, and that included one of the weirdest sense of humors, combined with the worst sense of timing he'd ever seen... not to being able to react to situations in a way that most sane people didn't.

Although the pissed off confusion seemed appropriate enough.

Daniel glanced briefly at the people around them. "Oh, I'm good. Missing for several weeks, but good. How about you?" he replied just as casually. He cocked his head slightly. "Don't you have an idea what's going on? No one filled you in yet?"
