"Hey---hey wait a minute! Isn't anybody going to tell a girl what's going on! You can't just kidnap people like this!"

The red-headed teenager carrying what looked like an oversized egg in her arms was....shall we say 'discontent'. Who did that creepy voice lady think she was, anyway? Being thrown onto her moving floor covered in goo was totally disgusting! Just thinking about being seen back there had made her shudder.

She'd gone looking for a hair tie right after being wrapped in the weird suit and managed something resembling her usual hairstyle, but she was still out of sorts. Where was she, and---did that mean someone who cared about her was here? Who could that be?

In a much softer voice, she looked down to address the little cooing egg in her arms. "I don't know, Togepi, what do you think? Would my sisters be here? Tracey? Ash?"

One second of thought followed, and then she shook her head. "Nah, couldn't be. He'd have to notice I was missing in the first place."

"MISTY!"

"PIKACHUPI!"

Ash had run like hell down to the Obsdeck when he'd heard the news, and Misty suddenly hugged by a boy who was older than she remembered and a yellow mouse.

Loud noises and stampeding feet meant trouble for them! Misty yelped, keeping one arm locked around Togepi while the other grabbed the person bearing down on her. When she'd had time to set her precious little Pokémon on a nearby chair, she recognized them. Ash, of course, with another one of his hats. And Pikachu, the little guy she loved so much.

"Hey watch it," she chastised, but there was no real force in her words. She was just happy to see some familiar faces around this creepy place. The not-so-little friend of hers got a hug and Pikachu got a scratch between the ears. So cute.

When she'd had her fill of comforting them (they acted like she hadn't been seen in a very long time, and that wasn't a good sign), she drew back and lifted a very happy Togepi back up. Even he was waving his arms in celebration, but something still wasn't right. "That voice said you were waiting for me, right? What're we here for?"

"That's kind of a long--" Ash went silent and stared at the baby Pokemon in Misty's arms. "...didn't Togepi evolve months ago?"

"Okay, I've been in strange situations before, but not like this!"

Miyako was just one of many people who was chosen for this interesting moment and, despite everything she's gone through in and out of the Digital World, this was one of the strangest. Adjusting her glasses, Miyako looked around the place, trying to make sense of everything.

"So many people here, Miyako. You think we'll find anyone we recognize?" a voice called out beside her. Miyako turned her head to see her Digimon partner, Hawkmon, by her side, flying.

"I sure hope so! And once we do, I think we need to find some answers!"

Hikari frowned, walking out and searching into the obs deck, Nyaromon in her arms. This situation... well, honestly, wasn't that great. Sure, if she saw anyone that she knew she would know for sure that they were saved... but only having one day for them?

That was almost too horrible to even think about. Couldn't Stacy have just let them know for sure that they were in the pods and leave it at that?

"Hikari!" Nyaromon exclaimed. "Over there!" The small digimon tried to, well, nudge herself over in a direction, so Hikari turned and saw who was there. "Miyako-san!"

Both Miyako and Hawkmon's head turned upon hearing that voice and smiled. "Hikari-san!"

Sprinting over to the two, Miyako couldn't resist giving her teammate and friend a hug before realizing that she was carrying someone that wasn't distinctively Tailmon.

"...Tailmon, what happened to you?!" Hawkmon gawked, surprised.

Hikari's eyes widened a bit more. It really was Miyako and Hawkmon. "Miyako-san..."

She almost didn't realize that she was being hugged until she was actually... being hugged.

Nyaromon yawned. "Tired. Big fight. Somehow evolved to Ultimate." And then she yawned again.

As far as strange things go?

This was comparatively tame by Ranger standards, when you've been doing this stuff as long as Tommy. He's not focused as much on the weirdness of Stacy - but on the question of who he was here for. He could definitely think of a lot of people that could apply to...

And the fact that he'd have to go back in the pod later. That didn't sound too appealing, considering the last thing that happened was him coming out of a coma.

Billy was not having the greatest of weeks. He was finally back in decent physical shape, sure, and their mechanical work was almost done, but things had been rough. There had been missions pulling them all apart and leaving them winded, and now he was standing here in a futile search for a face ( ... )

For several moments, Tommy just stares at the person that approached him - there was no denying who it was, but the age difference between them - it was like the last time he'd seen Billy before the rapid aging had kicked in.

"...well, there's a face that I'd never expected to see again." Tommy grins, reaching out to clap Billy's shoulder. Oddly fitting that they'd cross paths again in space.

The staring is different. He doesn't come from a culture where glasses are marks of evil, are they?

No, he sighs with relief as the person speaks and reaches out to him. It's just Tommy. Tommy and his usual non-comprehending stare. That's still the same, as is his voice, but the rest is different.

Wonderful, a time distortion. Billy squeezes Tommy's arm and smiles, bracing himself for an explanation. However strange the circumstances, it's still good to confirm that another dear friend is alive and well.

What he'd last said didn't sound good for his original future, though. "So it is you, Tommy. You looked as though you'd seen a ghost, and I was starting to wonder."

He waits a second, then elaborates. "I'm not dead in our world's future, am I?" Oh, Billy is quite the optimist.

To say that Jordan wasn't impressed with the situation, was an understatement. Waking up covered naked in goo, she was not exactly happy. And there was the fact she would have to go back into the pod later... One thing at a time. "Rachel? Jake? Anybody? Hello?"

To be honest, Rachel was kind of mad at Stacy for this. It felt a lot like they were being screwed with, having loved ones show up for one day to just go back. Sure, her explanation seemed solid (or as believable as anything Stacy said could be) but it still sucked a lot.

Of course, she also wasn't really sure she'd expected to see her sister there.

She kind of stared for a moment, when she heard the voice calling her name out, before she finally managed to just say, "Jordan?"

Now as Jordan wasn't used to any weird things, she was keeping an eye out for Rachel or Jake (or barring that, Cassie, or Jake's cute friend Marco) so she wasn't sure where to find Rachel. Because as weird as things were right now, she had to find her sister. And hopefully she was fine...

"Rachel!" She resisted the urge to hug her, as Jordan knew Rachel hated that sort of thing.

Rachel moved closer, a little bit restless to see her sister for real, because that was mostly definitely Jordan. She wasn't entirely sure why Jordan was pulled out, but that didn't mean she wasn't glad to know she was okay. She stopped a little bit from her, having closed the distance a bit, before she allowed herself a brief enough moment to ask, "you okay?"

Despite the assurances, despite the calming voice, Ayeka was anything short of panicked. She was flitting from person to person, looking for certain colors of hair in the pile of people.

"Tenchi-sama? Sasami? Washu? Mihoshi?" She exhaled. "Even Ryoko would be pleasant to see right now."

She wondered briefly if the person she was important to was her parents, but that was silly. They were back on Jurai, right...?

Even though Sasami had came up to the observation deck, Ryo-Ohki in tow, she had all but given up being reunited with anyone. Being here for, perhaps, a year was starting to wear on her hopes and she was ready to admit defeat and stay with her adopted sisters.

It was then she heard those panicked calls. Her pink eyes went wide and she slowly turned, shaking.

No... no, it couldn't be... Sasami thought. Her eyes caught the familiar twin-tails and was ready to dismiss it at Hay Lin again until she saw her face.

"...Ay...Ayeka-neesan..." she whispered.

Whirling around, Ayeka's expression blossomed into a relieved smile. "Sasami! Oh there you are! I was beginning to worry that I was released for that detestable woman!"

She moved over and blinked. "Sasami are you...? Are you going to cry?"

And cry Sasami did. Running over to her older sister, she threw her arms around her and just bawled. For the first time since her release, she had finally had some sort of confirmation.

Someone she knew survived. She had a reason to keep going.

"A-Ayeka-neesan, I... I...!" Sasami sobbed, clutching on to her, afraid of letting her go. "...you're here. You're okay! I'm..."
