NCIS & pictures...
My darling brother turned me on to NCIS. I do love the occasional tension between Tony and Ziva, but I mostly love the way Ziva can't figure out some common old saws, or mixes her metaphors, or other things along those lines. Mondays during the school year are not the hell for me that they are for most people -- after a weekend of dealing with everybody and everything, it's the start of time for me, doing what I want when I want to (within limits, of course). I seem to have become an unrepentant Glee-oholic. Sad that it's the summer and there's no new eps, but it's just as well since I can't really watch during the summer anyway. I was hoping to start playing around with writing prompts, but truth be told, I prefer rambling on (and research papers, but that's a whole 'nother kettle of fish...). Plus, let's be honest. I went on a nearly month-long vacation for June--the kids and I left on Memorial Day for my parents' in VA. Steve joined us on the 18th and we went to PA to visit his mom and get his boat (OMG an exercise in irritation and frustration!) and then we got back home on the 27th. We're getting down to the wire--it's almost summer break for the kids! Mom and Dad should be here sometime on Tuesday in order to attend Jessica's 5th grade graduation on Wednesday morning and Jacob's Kindergarten graduation on Thursday; after that, No More School!!
