He's no Brett Maverick
I'm listening to Tom Ridge and wondering who writes his speeches. I am imagining suitable tortures for them. I also would like to suggest that for the drinking game, we take a drink everytime we hear the word 'maverick'. I'd like to know how someone in his 70's and who has been in Congress for years can be a maverick. Did I miss something? -
Worry
McCain's VP pick and the conversations I hear surrounding her have me worried. This is not an unusual response from me, I worry alot. I worry that the Republicans will figure out a way to win. I worry that the fact that she is a woman will sway some people. I've never understood how a woman can be so anti-woman and she also seems compassionless ( Read more... ) -
Sunday morning politics
Political campaigns tend to leave me angry and cold. For me, there is only one issue that determines my vote: does the candidate believe abortion should be kept legal and safe or not? This is looking up. I'm dealing with my camping fears and so far doing well..I can do this....thanks for all your support. I keep telling myself, it's OK cause I'm not usually such a baby about things. But I've got, coffee makings, maple syrup, marshmallows, & PBJ stuff. Camping thoughts
I'm going camping for the first time in my adult life. Does a weekend in Kinnelon, NJ with girl scouts count? Anyway, my family and friends are telling me I just need to relax. Can't believe May has zipped by... This weekend I go to Shibaricon. I wanted to go to an event that was totally new to me. I know so little about rope, except that I really love it.
