So, let me preface this by saying I currently have 6 dogs, however, because of my moving situation [we just bought a house and are renovating it, so I am with my mom] I only have 5 of the dogs with me the other is with my fiance. That is 5 dogs in bed with me at night, thankfully they are all fairly small, but still that makes for a crowded full- ( Read more... )

Oh yeah, raw pukes can be bad. My Malinois ate raw for a year or so. One night he had raw turkey breast and a neck. A few hours later he started vomiting while in his crate. It was all the partially digested turkey and the dish of water he drank after eating. It was even a bit warm from his stomach. Poor guy was scrambling as far back in the crate to get away from the horror! While cleaning it up from the crate I realized that it smelled almost exactly like the turkey I cooked for Thanksgiving a few days earlier. Since then I just haven't been as much of a fan of roasted turkey!

Aw, that's kind of cute, four dogs huddled at the head of the bed while the culprit is all adorably sadface at her carnage. But then I didn't have to smell it, haha.

I think this post needs more cute puppy pictures. Somehow hearing about this grossness has made the picture of her on the other post cuter!

God, I love curling up with dogs. Back when I was a kid, and still lived with my parents, we had three dogs and all of them would curl up into my bed at night, under the covers. Ahh I miss those days.

I learned very quickly to wake up to the sound of an animal vomiting. So quickly that I almost get sick myself.
