Things (the disjointed, parenthetical, rambling version with lots of name-dropping)

Sep 13, 2008 02:21

It's been almost a month since my last post. It's not been that I've had an unwillingness to write, but it's been such a full and engaging month that I just haven't found the time. I feel a little guilty at that, because there were a number of moments that I would have loved have written down for posterity.

The highlights )

korea, work, update, home, family, friends

Like I said, please stop by on Monday if you're free. There will be food!

Yay MotoGP! Is the race this weekend? I've not been following the season, but if you happen to be going to the race... enjoy!

Using your powers of deduction, I'd bet you could guess that the above entry was mine. And you'd be right.

As I read about Middle Eastern food, my computer starting making a noise like finger cymbals. Disturbing, but oddly appropriate.

I'm stuck in Chicago until tomorrow. I'm assuming there's no way for you to make it up?

(Psst: that's not me!)

Ughhhhh, are you having to deal with that nasty weather?

Unfortunately, I-90 is flooded beyond belief. Our buddy from Chicago (who made it, thank gods) doesn't know how he's going to get home.

Yes, unfortunately I have to deal with the nastiness. Fortunately, I actually made it to the airport today. I'm actually at my gate right now. Fingers crossed I make it home!

Sorry we couldn't meet up. Hope to see you out in LA sometime!
