Heading out to Detroit for a few days to do some family stuff. Confirmed for the 4:50 am flight, but crossing my fingers to get bumped so I can score a flight voucher. Who would have figured that a 4:50 am flight would be so overbooked?

I have to confess that I've sort of fallen off of livejournal ever since I got my new phone. I do most of my web these days on it, and typing is just challenging enough that I end up making all sorts of excuses to not post. - Waking up with lymph nodes that were less inflamed than yesterday. Hopefully, this is a sinus infection that responds well to amoxicillin.

Life is good. We are in Arkansas at mother-in-law's house. There are cats and champagne and a warm fireplace. Brandon gave me an amazing gift; we are going on a sunset horseback ride in Cave Creek. My first horseback ride!
