Stuff happened
Yes, I really do exist and I'm not just a figment of your imagination (as far as you know). Why, I'm at least as real as Santa or Bigfoot and at least as alive as Elvis.
Yes, bunches of stuff has happened since my last post, most of it good. Maybe I'll even manage to post about it at some point. It's been a busy summer. -
Off to Iowa
It's not as if I ever seem to be here anymore, so my absence wouldn't be noticed anyway, but we're off to Iowa for the weekend. -

Saw some artwork the other day that reminded me of this commercial that used to run in the '60's and early 70's with a brief resurgence in the '90's.

Snakes
Apparently my yard is going to be snake central this year. I just mowed my front yard with the push mower and saw three garter snakes, all of the fairly good size with the largest one 18" long. A year ago today
A year ago today, an EF-5 tornado hit Greensburg, Kansas, effectively leveling the town of 1500. Of course that's being remembered here in Kansas as it could happen anywhere.
