Snakes
Apparently my yard is going to be snake central this year. I just mowed my front yard with the push mower and saw three garter snakes, all of the fairly good size with the largest one 18" long. I backed off from all of them so that they'd move along and not get eaten by the mower. They're good little bug killers. When I was putting the mower away in the shed, I heard this plop after seeing something fall in the corner of my eye. It was another garter snake that had gotten in the rafters of my metal shed. I have no idea how he got up there, but he should get good and fat in my shed.
