So one of the drawbacks of working with young people is that I sometimes pick up one or two of their catchphrases or slang. Not too big of a deal when I was younger, but already at the ripe old age of 30 I feel a little strange when I find myself unexpectedly using such terms in mixed company. You know, it kinda weirds me out a bit to be walking around outside in short sleeves when there are still mounds of snow all over the place. Sort of the same kind of feeling I got those couple of really sunny days this winter when I would put on my scarf, hat, gloves, and heavy winter coat, then top it all off with my sunglasses.
