During the flight over / Q&A / meeting, whatever magitekrune February 22 2011, 19:05:28 UTC
Mingling was encouraged as far as Celes was concerned. She just didn't do a whole lot of it. Still, she was open to questions from her new companions and didn't want anyone to go into this without knowing what they were up against. Anyone who wanted to talk to her was more than welcome to do so.

[ooc: I figure this can be the general mingling before the battle, talk out your nerves thread. Feel free to make other subthreads under this one for other talks between people!]

Terra herself wasn't very talkative. Her mind was really only on one thing; retrieving Edgar as soon as possible. To that end, she listened to the questions and responses, committing necessary information to memory. Otherwise she was, at best, only half-there. Her mind kept going to what Edgar must be experiencing, what Lufene was putting him through in order to get her information. Such a train of thought left her quiet and pale, checking and re-checking supplies without really noticing any of it.

"...you're counting them again? They're not gonna walk off while you're not looking, you know."

The onion knight was keeping watch over Terra still. He took a sheet of paper and handed it to Terra.

"This is how we were for supplies when we took inventory an hour ago. Nothing'll have vanished since then."

Terra stared at the supply list for a moment before his words sunk in. Glancing up, she managed a quirk of the lips that tried to be a smile but wasn't quite. "I'm sorry. I'm sure you did it right before. I...just need something to do. It's hard to wait."

Even knowing that they were getting closer to Pandemonium with every moment wasn't quite enough.

Confrontation / Fight with Lufene magitekrune February 22 2011, 19:06:10 UTC
Celes hit the ground running. Not quite literally, but close. She'd let out the call to Lufene already, laying the bait. Hopefully, the witch would take it.

"Lufene!" she yelled, once she was close enough, letting it echo through her Sky Phone. "We know you're in there! Come on out! I've got a bone to pick with you and I think you might like my terms!"

She was hoping, praying to whatever gods would listen, that this would work. They needed Edgar back. Please let it work and please let everyone be okay afterward.

Rinoa stayed close behind Celes, remembering their instructions. She was a black mage, so she knew to stay in the back row if it came to a fight. Her entire body was tense with anticipation. Would Lufene take the bait?

Far from it. One thing Lufene liked better than destruction was quiet. Peace and quiet. She knew there was a rabble invading her home and it annoyed her. Greatly. They would be loud or wreck her baubles. Or steal her new pet.

Speaking of new acquisitions, she stole a look at the pretty boy she'd swiped in Figaro, still under the charm she'd inflicted on him. Maybe in time he'd grow to appreciate staying here. Until then, she planned to enjoy looking. She reached over to twirl some of his long hair around her fingers.

Either way, not much could possibly be better than the plaything she acquired, whatever trinket that shrill shrew was screeching about. And even if that were the case, Lufene never took orders. She gave them.

"Terribly rude of them, don't you think? Uninvited guests making demands when I wasn't ready to entertain them." With an overly dramatic eye roll, she snapped a finger, conjuring a silver dragon to contend with the pests. "It seems I've a pest problem. Exterminate the vermin."

Apparently, Lufene wanted to play difficult. With her Sky Phone open and ready to receive her words, she yelled back to her front gate companions: "Silver Dragon, be careful!"

Readjusting her sword and shield, she started out with a powerful Thunder Slash attack, waiting to see how difficult this dragon would be. She well remembered the last ones she'd faced.

Infiltration Group A - Terra, Onion Knight, Firion alittletoosmart February 22 2011, 20:50:04 UTC
Firion knew this place and Terra was the strongest of the three by far. The Onion Knight moved fairly seamlessly into the role of keeping track of medicine and keeping watch for monsters.

"...Firion, are there traps in this place?"

Terra's hand rested on her sword hilt; though she used her magic a great deal more, the gesture kept her grounded and alert. Now that they were on-site, her brooding was replaced by extreme focus. She couldn't afford to fail them, or Edgar.

Upon hearing the Onion Knight's question, she glanced inquiringly at Firion. This was his area of expertise, after all. She wanted to be ready for any possibility.

Cid looked around at this bizzare place yet was unphased by the things he saw there. His visor down he began to map the area where they were, in order for them not to get lost. He flipped it back up serious expression and replied to his teammate(s), "I'll try and keep up with you (both), I will also make a map that way we don't get lost and travel in circles."

With that he nodded and started to scan the area following his teammate(s).

Locke looked around, knowing they should look for Edgar first and foremost. He still couldn't resist looking out for treasures. "Don't forget to mark the treasures." He had every intention of looting any chests on the way out. He looked to his companions hoping that he wouldn't have to stand in the front. It was always easier if he could sneak behind their prey.

Looking around the areas he noted anything and everything that could be possible treasure. He was uncertain of his teammate's intentions for finding the King as he quickly stated, "Priority should be the King though, correct?" He didn't want to make anyone on his team angry...especially now that time is of the essence.
