HD Expo video show
The HD Expo in Burbank, CA is small compared to the typical show but this one has some notable exceptions. (The other show I like to go to in the LA area is Cine Gear however it happens at the exact time as Califur and this year I wanted to attend Califur, 1st time, so I missed Cine Gear which made going to HD Expo more of a priority than usual.) Getting ready for epic trip East
I am madly getting ready for my annual trip East. This time I will be going to AR to pick up a new item then heading to MN to visit a friend on her 160 acre farm. Rest & relaxation for several weeks. Catching up on things and Looking forward to the New Year
I have been spending the last two weeks at my bro's place near L.A. The week before Christmas there were some good seminars put on by BandPro on 3D and the F35 camera. Wow saw the Avatar trailer in 3D
Today I had the pleasure of attending a 3D Work flow event (STEREO PRODUCTION - FROM ACQUISITION TO DELIVERY) held at the San Francisco Dolby Laboratories Theater. I learned that for 3D there is much more than meets the eye to get it right. HD Expo here I come
Off to HD Expo in Burbank. Hope to see the Sony PMW-350 camera that was announced last month. Not that I intend to own one but I want to see where the technology is and what it looks like. Windows 7 on the way to enable 8GB RAM
Just got my Windows 7 64bit image made up including the 3ware drivers. Loads in 7 minutes. I will make the switch from WinXP to 7 after I finish the FC2009 edits. I will have all of the 8GB of ram available with 7 as my XP is only 32bit. Being the OEM version I can use the preinstallation software to generate the image.
