Catching up on things and Looking forward to the New Year
I have been spending the last two weeks at my bro's place near L.A. The week before Christmas there were some good seminars put on by BandPro on 3D and the F35 camera. They also had their open house which is always nice to be able to see new gear and try it out. Sony's new SRW-9000, a one piece camcorder was there that is basically an F23 in one shoulder mounted unit. Although weighing in at 20lbs with no glass I doubt very much it will get used on many shoulders. At the other end of new cameras is the refreshed EX-1R which is an EX-1 updated with some new features. I am hoping that they will announce an updated version of the EX-3 at NAB.
Anyways I have been taking it easy while here trying to relax and catch up on things. For Christmas we had a beautiful 8.5lb rib roast, YUM. I cooked it rare and it was very good indeed.
