Just got my Windows 7 64bit image made up including the 3ware drivers. Loads in 7 minutes. I will make the switch from WinXP to 7 after I finish the FC2009 edits. I will have all of the 8GB of ram available with 7 as my XP is only 32bit. Being the OEM version I can use the preinstallation software to generate the image.
