I am wondering why it is that a significant number of young men on Mexican/Latin/Hispanic descent in the greater Los Angeles area seem to be huge Morrissey/Smiths fans? Or was it just the areas I happened to travel? We saw young men of said ethnic heritage sporting Morrissey tattoos everywhere we went. bird? Perhaps you could provide a little wisdom?

On Sunday of last week, my family took a trip to the mall with one of my clients. The past few weeks have been incredibly hectic. In addition to the regular business, we have been painting the outside of our house, landscaping the yard (not just planting flowers- this involves Bryan and a shovel) and rearranging rooms/shelves/closets/the basement. I had written out an actual post and then accidentally closed it. I have never done this before and I am pretty put out by the experience.

This week we have been doing a lot of spring cleaning, inside and outside. Bryan has been tearing up the yard, cleaning out all sorts of mess and getting ready to plant. Yesterday was not nearly as arduous as I originally felt it would be. Claire was perfect in the car (all 6+ hours) and I got to learn some new weirdness about my parents.
