This may well be one of the most fascinating stories I've ever heard. I hope the ending is beautiful and not tragic.

I had written out an actual post and then accidentally closed it. I have never done this before and I am pretty put out by the experience.

There was a lady lived near us once upon a time. She had been in a car accident with her two children. They all survived, but when it happened, she saw her children with their heads split open and blood everywhere, thought they were dead, so went nuts. She would show up on our doorstep and show us that she wasn't wearing any underwear. Then she would sit down at the piano, no sheet music in sight, and play the most beautiful music you have ever heard. For hours. Other than that, she was nuts. As was her son and pretty much the rest of her family. Although, I hear she "got well" again down the road. I moved away so don't know for sure. But she played beautifully, even though she couldn't function very well on any other level.
