Decent weekend. Finally regaining some sense of stability and control over my life.
I've been good about making my meals instead of going out. I'm enjoying cooking again. I've always found it soothing.

I suck at everything. I've typed up about seven different entries over the past week and posted none of them. This is what you're ending up with.
My grandma was in the hospital Sunday for chest pain and breathing problems. They let her out yesterday but she's feeling bad again and my grandfather thinks she should go back. She was a heavy smoker from ( Read more... ) -

I'm not as horribly broke as I imagined I was yesterday. I do this thing, when I am really worried about something, where I just go into a state of deliberate denial/ignorance and just avoid whatever it is I'm worried about altogether. For some reason lately I have felt so boring and ordinary and it is really making me crazy. I don't know why this is even a concern of mine. I guess it's just all tied in to my life not being where I want it to be right now.

The first "real" day of summer and it is definitely a brand new beginning for me. Some personal situations have reached a head and I have nothing left to do but address these problems head on. There are at least four Starbucks located about the same distance from my office, but I like the one inside the Marriott Long Wharf the best because when I go there, I can see the ocean and the boats and the tourists with their maps and cameras, and that makes me happy.
