Shinjiro did not particularly dislike doctors, in so many words. But the feeling of weakness that came with them was something he avoided. Of course, this didn't make the last few weeks with his busted knee any easier. But at least Doc seemed like a decent guy. A little overbearing sometimes, but decent.

And while he knew Doc Watson was going to give him an earful about going back to work, he had to pay his way around here somehow, right? And sitting for so long like some kind of invalid was driving him to madness. Better to catch Watson for his next check in then have the old man hunt him down.

He wasn't expecting to find Isshin instead.

"Tch. Just you?" He grumbled as he walked in. He and the other doctors were on general name-face knowledge only. That didn't bother him one bit.

Unfortunately for Shinjiro, it so just happened to be Isshin's turn to be in the ward at the moment, so the cook was going have to make do with it. If it was any consolation though, at least he wasn't going have to face Ryuuken - now that would have been a bit of a trainwreck in the making.

The man looked up from the files he had been looking, the smile breaking on his face once he saw who it was. "Shinjiro-san! Good to see you! I hope you're well?" he went with a pointed look towards the other, indicating upon his general health - if anything, the cook had a bit of notoriety for somehow manging to get himself out of work quite often. Or at least to his knowledge anyway.

He gave a non-commental grunt at Isshin's good cheer, walking further into the room, posture hunched and curled as always. "Been better. Been worse." He finally responded. He could see the pointed glance, though he was unsure if it was because he was up and about or because he had been down for so long. Both looked pretty bad, honestly.

"You got time to look at my knee?" If he didn't want Watson on his ass, it was best to get someone to say it was good to go back to work.

Well, that was an easy enough question.

"Certainly!" the doctor responded, sounding quite cheerful as always despite the tone of grump and gloom that the other was going with. Isshin certainly wasn't going to let something as this get him down - and besides, he had dealt with worse anyway. Like his son.

Sara was wordlessly cleaning up the mess around the living quarters, which generally meant putting her things back the way they were and putting other people's things that had been thrown down the hall in neat little piles outside their doors. Her necklace was nowhere to be found. Of course that was the case; after all, it had gone missing even before the ghost had returned and started trying to kill them. At least she still had Emily, and without a scratch on her, too.

"What a mess," she declared to no one but the doll in a far more expressive voice than one would expect to hear from the drywall Sara Cruz. "What in the world was he thinking?"

Isshin had decided to drop into the living quarters on a whim - he hadn't been able to get to the lunch that Shinjiro had made up due to being far more busy with his own things, but knowing the crew well enough it wasn't too surprising to walk in upon the rather messy room when he entered. What did surprise him though was the teenager (and her doll) who was currently cleaning up the place. Now that was a sight he didn't get to see everyday.

"Good afternoon, Sara-chan!" he went in his usual happy voice, all smiles and sunshine as always when he spotted the girl. "How goes the cleaning?"

Sara blinked and looked up, quickly subduing her expression to the usual blank one she gave everyone else. "All right." She hesitated before saying anything more. "What was he trying to do?"

The man blinked at the question, confusion clear on his features. "He?" Who was this he that the other was talking about?

Well... the guns were alright, at least on the outside. That was good to know, at least, and there really weren't that many appliances on the gun deck to begin with, but...

Well, Hinamori would have to do a deeper check. For all she knew, there were things lodged in them, even if they weren't dented or anything. She really didn't want to have to deal with that in an actual gunfight, as she was pretty sure that she read they could explode if that sort of thing happened. And if she started on the other stuff she'd probably... forget to check the insides of the guns.

So, there she was, staring down the barrel of a (hopefully unloaded) gun.

...in retrospect, going to the gun deck without reason was most probably a bad idea, but Isshin had never been one for having the brightest of ideas. After all, why not pay the place the visit? It always paid to know the crew better after all, since he was kinda sorta technically in charge of a good part of the crew for their general health. When you had a large ship and only three doctors... well, things did tend to get kind of hectic at times.

But still, at least he could remember the girl who was in the room at the moment when he entered the place. "Momo-chan! Cleaning up the guns, I guess?"

"Ah!" said Hinamori, jumping slightly and very narrowly missing hitting her head off the barrel of the gun. W... why did so many people walk so quietly around here!?

"Y-yes, I am!" she said, poking her head out from behind the gun.

Isshin did his best to not be too amused at the other's reaction, even if it was wholly justified. There was just something about it that just made the made want to break a chuckle or two at her actions... she really should try to tone down her own jumpiness though.

Smiling slightly, the doctor made his way closer to the girl. "How about the others? Aren't they helping you out?" It really wasn't so good to leave a girl doing things like these all by herself now, after all.

Nikolas hated things messing with the ship. He had been serving there long enough to be somewhat protective of her, and things like rampaging ghosts annoyed him to no end. For one thing, it meant more work for him to supervise, and despite his position, he really hated being the one giving orders. Which was why he, and not some lower ranking crew member, was out in the hall with a hammer and a damaged access panel, trying to pound the thing back into shape and making a lot of noise while doing it.

The aftermath of the ghost rampage certainly had quite been something, and it was clear that it was going to be a good while before the Silvana could function normally once again. Even though Isshin was spared from doing grunt work unlike most of the crew, he still had enough on his platter no thanks to the damage the whole incident had left in its wake. After all, when the ship itself was against the crew things were quite certain to become rather... messy.

At least the whole thing was over and done with, even if the repairs were going to take a while.

Isshin had been down the corridors after a bit of a walk around the ship when he saw Nikolas, and being the cheerful ball of sunshine he was immediately greeted the other once he was within earshot. "Good afternoon to you, Nikolas-san!"

Nik paused in his hammering to wave when he heard the doctor call out to him. He wasn't the chatty sort, but even he could use a break from manual labor every now and then. "Hello, Isshin," he replied, leaning the now slightly-less dented panel against the wall. "How is the infirmary fairing?" If it needed work, he'd see to it a crew got there as soon as possible.

The dark-haired man only grinned slightly at the question, looking as chipper as always as he responded to the other. "As fine as ever! It wasn't too damaged by the whole thing, fortunately." If only because it was pretty much the engine room that was affected. As well as the corridors. And the fact that the ghost hadn't turned into a Hollow, though it was well on its way to becoming one.

...honestly, it was times like these that made him consider twice about keeping his abilities secret. But he needed to, for the sake of his son.

Kanda had been checking on the small planes in the Hanger, they were mostly in one peice. But some needed some work, but at the moment he was to tired to deal with it. He was exhausted a combination of fighting and bloodloss was still bothering him. The wounds had healed but he'd lost quite a bit of blood. He was still pale, he'd tried resting but that only helped a little. Even sleeping he'd only manage a couple of hours sleep.

It felt like he'd been stuck on the ship forever, he needed some air he started making his way up to the deck almost walking into a dark-haired man that he thought he recognised from the fight with the ghost.

The hangar was always a good place to hang around in, which was why Isshin was currently heading down to make an appearance there after going around the ship for a breath of fresh air. It was pretty nice after doing nothing but work after such a long while.

What he didn't expect was to meet up with the pilot - it took a few moments for Isshin to recognize him from the whole fiasco, and another moment to realize that he didn't know the other's name. That wasn't going to get him though - so all he did was to grin and go with his usual greeting of 'good afternoon!' to the other.

"Afternoon" mummbled Kanda tiredly, moving to step passed him. He wobbled swaying to steady himself against the wall.

He hoped the cheery guy hadn't noticed, starting to walk again slowly though and close to the wall just in case he felt dizzy again.

Unfortunately for the other, Isshin had noticed, and had quickly hurried towards him once the man had gotten over his initial surprise and started to go to his Doctor Mode.

"You don't seem too fine there. Did the whole ghost thing get you?"
