Ikkaku, a regular on the Silvana's top-most deck, had already been up and about when his colleague had to decided to make good on his promise to bring a little music to the crew in hopes of lifting their spirits. Ikkaku normally didn't enjoy it when others interrupted his time to enjoy the view of the world below the Silvana's great heights, and had immediately turned to stare crossly at the intruders, but after identifying the primary culprit, he relaxed, sighed, then sat himself down with his back against the railing. No matter how much he liked his time alone, there would be no disuading Jushirou, especially while he held that pesky fiddle in his hands ( ... )

Susan decided that having Jushirou back on board and having a little impromptu party was the perfect opportunity to let her hair down again - literally and metaphorically. Some days it was hard to get such a unique and diverse crew to respect you when you showed your softer side, so it was something she shared sparingly.

She was still in her uniform, but she had undone her tight ponytail and wandered up to the top deck to at least soak in the music. Madarame was sitting on the deck, eyes closed and slouched. Maybe he'd be good for a few moment's peace. She slid down the railing and sat holding onto her knees lightly.

"Nice night for a party, Madarame?"

Ikkaku, looking perfectly content, his eyes still softly shut, replied quickly without even thinking about who he was talking with. "Any night's nice for a pa-Ivanova!?" he suddenly exclaimed, his eyelids shooting open. Gasping, he looked positively panicked for a moment, like he had just woken up from a bad dream. "XO, you scared me..."

Settling himself again, he let out a deep breath, then couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Ahh, sorry, XO. Didn't mean that you're scary, just that I didn't expect you to join us."

Susan chuckled, good-natured about the whole thing. She wasn't upset by the boatswain's outburst either, it was actually amusing.

"No, I suppose I don't usually join in, but I felt the need for some music." Really she felt like socializing with someone other than the Captain. Alex was not a social man, and she did need a few people she could talk to.

"Perhaps I'm just in a good mood today." He might not believe her, but it was probably the truth. She didn't really want to mix business with fun, but she did need a brief on the docking situation. "I heard loading up our cargo didn't go as planned."

A party was something Jr. could totally get behind. The Silvana was an awesome ship and all, but, geez, the place could use a little more life. While this was the first time Jr. was on an airship as part of a crew, what he understood was that an airship's crew was like a second family, and they sure weren't acting like one at the moment. He talked a bit to some of the other crew members, but man, he needed to spend more time with them. This gathering was the perfect opportunity.

The Silvana is sometimes known as a cursed airship, but between the music and the light breeze on the deck, well, it seemed like anything but that.

As soon as Tear had stepped out onto the top deck, the sound of music caught her ears. It was quick and upbeat, exuding both elation and cheer. Turning her head, she gazed around, searching for the source of the euphony ( ... )

Here only a little while and there's a party already. That was cool. Duo headed up to the top deck to investigate, curious and ready for fun. The Sweepers usually had some pretty raucous parties. It was one of the reasons Duo wasn't fond of drinking. They'd sort of... 'served' him drinks once shortly after he joined up with them, and he'd gotten terribly sick.

Either way, he still liked parties, just not the crazy drinking. He wandered around a bit, checking things out.

Well, considering that all of Reial is in the middle of a damn crisis, the newly appointed boatswain honestly did not feel up for a party. ‘Angelo’ spent most of his day just checking over the sub levels of the Silvana, making sure there are no explosives upon this ship. After narrowly surviving with his life and limbs aboard the renowned military vessel, the Victoria II, Angelo couldn’t relax. Death certainly does something to a man, no matter how friendly and cheerful they may be. The boatswain did not oppose the idea of a party but rather wished that more poor people would take the news of the bombings more seriously than now. He was sure that the crew of the Silvana survived life and death situations before and could easily shrug off the effects that near brush with Death provides. However, for Angelo being initiated to such an event for the first time ever that did not include men with rifles aiming for his head; he took the situation with a bit more sincerity than the others did ( ... )

Duo was listening to the music, observing the crowd. He was surprisingly content with the idea of being there. He heard someone approach and turned when they spoke. He smiled back, a friendly and open smile... at least, seemingly so.

"Yeah, I'm new," he said. "Just came aboard not that long ago." He nodded to the crowd and the music. "Looks like I arrived at the right time." Of course, he'd heard people talking back and forth about the bombings and things going on, but the party was a better topic of conversation.

"The same for me as well." Angelo admitted with a faint smile, glad to know he isn't the only new guy aboard. The rest of the crew seemed so friendly with each other now, hardly what the boatswain expected to witness considering every man and woman upon this deck are members of the notorious 'Kill-em-All' Silvana. It's a pleasant surprise to see so many random smiles now, even if he felt a tad bit odd being present here.

"You know, for such a fearsome ship the crew is surprisingly jovial." Angelo said as he looked over at the new guy again.

"What's your name?"

Fran wandered out on deck, her coughing much better, thanks to Jushirou's tea. That didn't mean that Kiros was willing to 'let' her wander around, but she was her own Viera, and could take care of herself. (It wasn't that she didn't appreciate Kiros, he was just getting a little overbearing.)

She heard the melody Jushirou was playing, and stopped to listen to it. So that was fiddle music...

Fran nodded in response to the bald man's introduction. "It's fine. I'm Fran, and yes, I'm the bookkeeper." She glanced at Jushirou. "I need to thank Jushirou--he gave me some tea that's helped my coughing," she murmured.

Though he was glad Fran was feeling all the more better for his efforts, Ikkaku couldn't help but shoot Jushirou another glance, this one a bit more cutting; was there anything that guy couldn't do? What a show-off ( ... )
