But of course. It was from Jushirou, playing his fiddle.
A few others were actually around, such as Ikkaku and Kukai, who both seemed rather relaxed. Well, that certainly wasn't a surprise. If Jushirou's blithe, yet caring personality didn't get to them, his music definitely would. It even managed to bring a small smile to her lips - an emotion she rarely showed, but one Jushirou often managed to draw. Strangely enough, she didn't feel guilty about expressing something other than a stoic expression.
Perhaps it was because of the lighthearted vibes Jushirou's music was sending. Perhaps it was because it was truly a relief to drop her facade for a few seconds. Perhaps it was because, with all that was happening, it was nice to have the opportunity to relax. Or, perhaps it was all that and more. Regardless, it was a good time to let her nerves ease and for her worries to ebb away.
Yet, in the back of her head, she could feel a nagging sensation that urged her to leave. As quartermaster, there was always a job to fulfill. Always things to accomplish. Would it truly be wise to take a break now -now of all times?
Maybe for a little bit, she decided at last. After all, she wouldn't want Jushirou to worry again.
