Yesterday evening I started making a spoof news page about Silvio Berlusconi making a Bloefeld/Dreyfuss-style broadcast on all Italian channels threatening revenge on the entire country. However I got tired and went to bed thinking I could always finish it today if I'm bothered.

I am getting the strangest spam. Empty accounts are leaving comments on entries in other LJs (comedy or special interests) I abandonned long ago, praising the journal in generic terms. That's it, no links, not even hidden. Why are they doing this? -

Apologies to everyone who's received spam from my old Yahoo account. I am quite rattled by this because the password is considered "strong" by the system. Must have been a Dalek. Anyway I have deleted all contacts from it so even if it's hacked again it should be fruitkless. -

The BBC's iPlayer is ace in all sorts of ways, but I've noticed that every time you use it, it checks whether it is included in your list of programs that trigger at start-up, and if not puts itself back. As far as I'm concerned that is malware behaviour. -

My humble suggestion to root out sex abuse within the Catholic Church: get all novices to sit in front of a picture of the Pope for a full hour under discreet supervision. Those whose faith is genuine will be inspired and pleased by the exercise. Those on the other hand who are paedophiles or sex pests trying to con the church into giving them ( Read more... )
