My mother's birthday is today. I think she is 48. I used to know her age exactly. Why have I forgotten over time? Maybe age and time have lost meaning to me; lost importance. The coffee I make at home always hurts my tummy. I wonder if I don't use enough water?

It's hard for me to put into words how my trip to Charleston, S.C. was.

I really can't articulate the feeling I get when I think of the few days I spent there. The only thing I can explain is that my heart feels like it might explode if I try to give someone who wasn't there an idea of the brand it left on me.
