I am exhausted.
After being sick for 2+ weeks, I finally decided to eschew my natural healing affinity and get some meds. Being sick always reminds me why I hate doctors, pills, etc. You wait for 45 minutes just to see a health professional and they tell you everything you already know and it costs money. Terrific system.

i have come to entertain disappointment.

however, the wintery jungle outside gives me comfort.

i never cease to run at full speed and cannonball. at some emotional forks in the road, this is sufficient.

but sometimes instead of slipping into the water sharply, i get a big, fat butt burn. man, am i good at analogys or what? ha.

I was walking home from work Sunday in a quiet rain, and wanted you to be by my side as I kept repeating the word simplicity. Simplicity > simplicity simplicity. I know this pertains to a more unexamined than examined life, but I had the want for primitivism inundate me.

2006 has been quite a journey. i feel as if i've grown in ways i didn't know were possible.

things aren't the same and friends aren't the same (not to say that the new ones and that old ones with new purpose do not mean just as much).

What a bizarre, awkward, and adorable person Adrian Orange(Thanksgiving) is.
While singing at Hospital this past weekend, he proceeded to put the entire microphone grill in his mouth, jump around, and sport flip-flops (as in every show).
Why am I attracted to such ridiculous attributes!?

I met Michele Norris (NPR; All Things Considered) last night, and all I could sputter was "You make journalism a respectable profession." After stumbling through ums and looking anywhere but her face. I'm a douche.

Whew. 60 pages analyzing  Artemisia Gentileschi's Judith Decapitating Holofernes is daunting. I'm only through a 1/3. But quite enthralled. Condensing that 60 page piece into a 2 page summary will be entertaining.
