we settled on
Berlin 
where the bullet holes make walls to play

Pyramus and Thisby
two years of marriage it took
two years to sit still

two years to date the wrinkles on my fingers.

it was easier when the snow fell
it was quiet
my toes clung to the bed
and I stared at the nightshade [so long] 
that it danced in the air

oh dear. let me wipe one of your curls from your face since i'm imagining you frozen in this moment.

Bloomington has resembled an an ice palace today as I trudged through the snow to Bikesmiths to give my bike a pre-spring overhaul.

I began this piece on the first day of snow Indiana recieved and ended it on presumably the last. Winter sure does seem conducive to my thought machine.

fantastic. I'm allowed to like this right? I have this feeling. It's like the guilty feeling of liking someone's creation out of a lull in their life. This is positively smile-worthy.

And I can totally see her do that smile and snap thing.

I find myself perusing through old pictures from time to time and I always find a warm smile on my face when I reach our self-portrait from this summer. What a fantastic morning.
