I will be honestly shocked if I make it past this week. My goals have changed as the season has progressed, and the current goal is surviving the gatekeepers... It had been "top 25" but it appears that they might be the same thing...

Pretty stinking worried. But I'm committed to focusing on my current manuscript if I am sent home this week. Just going to channel my LJI energy there.

Really worried here. I haven't finished the entries yet, but I certainly haven't seen eight that are weaker than mine. I will be overjoyed if I make the cut. The stuff people are writing is so good. Really applying the adjective "weaker" to anything would be tough.

It's not like it's a bad time for me to be in serious trouble. I'm rolling into Finals week and need my wits about me if I want to grade two thousand some assignments. However, I still want this, and I would gladly make my squalling high school Freshmen and Sophomores suffer in ungraded silence if only for just one more entry.

Plus, I really want to play Hell Week. That sounds fun.
