I thought I was going to get one of the stimulus packets (I had over 8,000 in income for 2007 and got only 50 dollars back from the government thanks to my Americorps scholarship...because it is not taxed even though I didn't see a cent of it because it went directly to the school...anyways).  Apparently if you are a student, you do not get any ( Read more... )

Colleen and I are planning a trip for Ireland in either December, March, or the late June/July.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for December, though.  But here is our plan:

I am in search for a censored version or a way to censor The Rolling Stone's Sympathy for the Devil for a future lesson plan on allusion. In the first part of the song it uses "damn" and I'm not sure how that will go over in the schools.
