I thought I was going to get one of the stimulus packets (I had over 8,000 in income for 2007 and got only 50 dollars back from the government thanks to my Americorps scholarship...because it is not taxed even though I didn't see a cent of it because it went directly to the school...anyways). Apparently if you are a student, you do not get any money back because you are either a dependent or can be claimed as one if your parents actually do claim you.
I know Kevin told me this earlier, but I didn't believe it. I'm kind of freaking out because without that $300, I'm left in debt until my first paycheck for the summer. Thanks.
