Today I am going to Rome. The rest of the house I can't speak for. I will be back on...the 26th I think. We must throw a massive Yurtsmas in your honor.

I hope you are well and everything is going smoothly. :) Say hi to Don for me :D

6 months from today actually! November 8th. Planning is stressful but fun. A few tips I have are to make lots of lists, take your time, and pick a date that is a while out because you'll want the time and there's no reason to rush.

There are a handful of DPB-related weddings, so when you do set a date make sure you're not conflicting much.

Thanks for asking, and if you want more tips, I have lots and lots and LOTS of them.

I hope you're enjoying China. I will pass on your hello to Donald!

heh, the earliest possible date would be 2010, and I'm a bit of a control freak, like one of those people that when you go shopping with them has to look at EVERY SINGLE ITEM because I might possibly be missing the best deal, so I think that part of me will be amplified... so I want to give myself plenty of time. <.<;

what are the other weddings? I know there's don and you, and chuck and annette, and mike and emily, and... any others? I don't want to unintentionally steal anyone's thunder :q

China is great over all, with a heavy sprinkling of the bad. But I am definitely enjoying it. :)

What would you say is the most important piece of advice that I should know now? >_>

Thank you :D

How have you been? Are you still taking classes? You should start taking Chinese, and then come to china, and then solve their pollution problems. (I'm thinking stuffing giant rocks into the tops of smokestacks, but you're the engineer. >_>)

I've got one more year of classes to go. As much as I enjoy them, next May cannot come soon enough for me. :)

My second choice for a two-week overseas program this January is Hong Kong, so that might give me a taste of China. My first choice is Melbourne, Australia, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Oh man. Both would be awesome. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I still haven't been to Hong Kong, but I hear it's a great city. What program is it?

And I hear you about waiting for classes to be over. My last week of classes this semester couldn't be over soon enough. I'm really glad I decided to come home to relax after it was over. You should make sure to do something nice for yourself when you're done with classes and really take the time to relax. Between work and classes, how many hours a week are you putting in?

thank you thank you :)

I tried calling you and leaving a message -- do you have a new number? I did finally eat peking duck -- it smells like pancakes >_> but the skin wasn't very crispy, it was all just... fatty. The Chinese seem to make a habit of eating fat. They don't so much differentiate it from other parts of meat. :| So it ends up being tasty (usually, if you can stand the texture) but also... let's just say I'm more than I used to be :P I blame all that rice >_>;

How are you? How is life? I see there is an ANN and CRABCAKES. citizens demand more information.

i do, maybe! facebook knows. i will also email you later today.

... the internet informs me that most of the peking duck i have been eating is a variant invented in the chinese community in the uk. duck fat is completely delicious though! fry french fries in it. or anything, really.

i am pretty well these days. there is a girl, and food, and good times.
